Feeling defeated but not giving up, I jumped head first into new Instagram accounts. I tried to sell my own creations about helping family members with anxiety before I knew what I was doing. During this time, I was listening to the advice of one creator, buying everything she put out and doing everything she said.... uncomfortable the entire time.

I was slowly learning to do things in my business, my way.

Next I moved on to the ever popular resell rights courses and quickly found that convincing a complete stranger to fork over $500 was impossible. Not to mention, I hated selling something I didn’t create myself.

So I went back to the drawing board and connected with my real passions, creating and helping! I love to make digital designs and I love helping people! As a freelance graphic designer, who has been selling digital downloads on Etsy for over 15 years, and a 10/10 people-pleaser, this was more me.

Now I’m happy to report, I’m in my confident self-made entrepreneur era (chef's kiss) and loving the passive income it is providing my family.

My Digital Marketing Journey

When I first started in the digital marketing space, I was convinced affiliate work would change my life. I was sold a lot of information with no real help or actionable steps to move things forward.

Because I am a committed, trusting person, I stuck with this for way too long, and even paid monthly to be an affiliate for a bit (NEVER do this!), before finally throwing in the towel.

It was here that I learned to listen to my intuition and keep the needle moving forward. I got out before the drama started and the company I was working with has sense disappeared.

• Jesus is King! My husband is a Pastor and I spend a lot of time volunteering at our church.

• My kids are my why! I have one girl & one boy... time is going so fast and I don't want to miss a minute with them.

• I'm an Enneagram 9 wing 1. Don't mess with my peace and give me all the check lists!

• I can relate everything to an episode of Friends and my brain is mostly 90s song lyrics.

• Love iced coffee and The Bible Recap in the mornings.

• Look forward to all the family vacations we can possibly take! My husband and I will see all the MLB parks one of these days.
